| Comments | Match Report Report by Bob MacKinnon for the Press & Journal. Inverness Clachnacuddin 1 Ross County 1 A goal in the closing minutes gave Clach a deserved share of the points in their last game of the Press and Journal Highland League season. Clach had the better of things in the early stages and Lamb came close with a header from McCulloch's cross before Cathcart made a great save from Bennett. But it was County who opened the scoring in 32 minutes. Clach failed to clear a free kick from Reid and WILLIAMSON broke through to give Arris no chance with a scorching drive from 15 yards. County kept up the pressure at the start of the second half and Arris made two excellent saves from Ross. Clach hit back and Wilson had a shot cleared off the line. At the other end, Arris came to the rescue when Williamson got on to the end of a through pass from Duff. HARDIE levelled the score with two minutes remaining when he headed in from Bennett's cross. |
