| Comments | Match Report Report by Eilidh Davies for the BBC. Ross County 1 Queen of the South 1 Ross County missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Championship after being held by Queen of the South. With Ayr United's game against Inverness called off on Friday, County looked set to leapfrog them after Josh Mullin's low shot found the net. But 20 minutes later substitute Andrew Stirling equalised from close range following Lyndon Dykes' cross. County remain second, a point behind leaders Ayr, who have a game in hand. Queen of the South move up to fourth. Ross County co-manager Stuart Kettlewell: "It was difficult to break them down. From getting our noses in front you're thinking we've probably got enough experience and quality to get ourselves through the game and we just feel as though we've lost a really cheap goal. We feel like it was an opportunity missed." Queen of the South manager, Gary Naysmith: "I'm absolutely delighted for the players. I was willing them to get a result without Stephen Dobbie and Gary Harkins because a lot of the time we get labelled a one man team. For not winning a game, that's about as happy as I've been as a manager." |
