Falkirk 3 Ross County 2
Falkirk will be playing in Scotland's third tier for the first time since 1980 after a 3-2 win over champions Ross County failed to avoid relegation.
Ray McKinnon's side finish behind Queen of the South, who lost at home to Partick Thistle, on goal difference.
Zak Rudden put Falkirk ahead from close range only for second-half goals from Ross Stewart Iain Vigurs to put the Dingwall side ahead.
Falkirk hit back from Ciaran McKenna and Jordan McGhee but still go down.
Their victory would have been enough to overhaul neighbours Alloa Athletic, but the part-timers managed a draw away to Ayr United to retain their place in the Championship for a second season.
Falkirk fans launched a protest at the end of the game to show their anger at the board.
