| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Ross County 4 Heart of Midlothian 4 The past decade has seen Gordon Connelly enjoy some marvellous moments in Ross County's colours and he added another glorious memory last night as his thrilling testimonial match against Hearts ended 4-4 in front of 1,308 Dingwall fans. Signed on loan from Dunfermline 10 years ago, the Stirling-born midfield man won two Highland League championships and a handful of cup medals over the years. But rarely will he have left the field with a bigger feeling of satisfaction than he did last night. "Things couldn't have been more enjoyable for me over the years with Ross County. I've had the pleasure of playing with some great players and characters and they have helped the memories which will always stay with me," said the star of the show. Neil McCann, with a hat-trick, and David Weir scored for Hearts, while Jamie Macpherson and Brian Grant both hit doubles for County. |
