| Comments | Match Report Report by BBC. Hamilton Academical 1 Ross County 2 Ross County require one point from their final Group H match to progress to the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup after coming from behind to defeat Hamilton Academical. Former Staggies striker Oli Shaw slammed the Championship hosts in front with his first Accies goal, but County debutant Ronan Hale spectacularly replied with an outrageous overhead flick. Two minutes later and the comeback was complete through a much more familiar source in fellow striker Jordan White. The towering forward headed in-off the post for Don Cowie's side, who need only a draw against League 2 side Stirling Albion on Saturday to finish as group winners. The Binos squandered a two-goal lead against Stranraer to draw 2-2 but prevailed 4-2 on penalties to grab the bonus point. |
